Small Business Enterprize Centre Comes to Haliburton
The County of Haliburton's Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Marketing has partnered with the Kawartha Lakes Small Business Enterprize Centre (KLSBEC) and now offers the services of an SBEC In Haliburton for businesses and entrepreneurs alike. The satellite office is known as the Haliburton County SBEC (HCSBEC).
The County's Satellite SBEC offers a variety of services designed to provide up-to-the-minute, insightful information to those looking to start a new business, as well as, existing business owners. Services offered by HCSBEC through the Lindsay office of the KLSBEC include:

In addition to assistance being provided locally by the HCSBEC satelite offcie, appointments can be scheduled in Minden with the Manager of the KLSBEC, Ms. Diane Stevens.

The Haliburton Highlands 2011 Destination Guide sales and production process has commenced. This the official tourism lure publication for the County of Haliburton. Do not miss out on the opportunity to have your business in the 2011 edition of the Destination Guide, deadline for advertising insertion orders is December 3, 2010. Annually, 60,000 copies are printed and distributed to; provincial tourism Information Centres across the province including border points; GTA consumer shows; selected Ontario Chambers of Commerce; local information outlets and businesses within Haliburton County. Each year hundreds of Guides are mailed out in response to website and telephone querries to an international clientelle. For the 5th straight year the 2006 advertising rates have been retained.
